Medical Coder - HIM
Medical coders are responsible for reviewing the medical records of patients and then assigning codes to their diagnoses and procedures so that the relevant insurance company can be billed. Work requires decision-making skills. High school diploma or equivalent required. Basic medical terminology, knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 hospital coding guidelines required. Five years experience required.
